Conifer Shaping (Trimming)

Very similar to hedges conifers need to be maintained at least once a year to help keep them in the shape you desire. Once a conifer gets to the height required you should maintain it at that level as allowing conifers to grow to big can become a near impossible task to bring it back to a level it once was. This is due to conifers only having a few years growth on them at any one time, the internal area of the conifer will be brown and brittle. Once in this state new growth and shoots never really regenerate so you are left with dead patches if a heavy trim is required. This would be unadvisable and the client would be informed by ourselves.
